Holtzy Invitational 2008 Update
I want to take a moment to thank each of you that worked hard to make today happen and to give an update on skiers performance.

I’m not going to list everybody that helped, but I do want to point out a few individuals that really impressed me.
•    Ryan Byod (our top rated Open skier) always seemed to be there to do what needed to be done from pickup boat driving, pulling the jump, or anything else.
•    Brian Heatherington, an other open skier; he spend hours in the scoring trailer, and he wasn’t asked to!
•    Matt Ellis; this was his first tournament (tricked 400 pt) and he drove the pickup boat as well a many other important tasks.

Dale Stevens our Senior Boat Judge was on the site before 6:30 am and we pulled our first skier at 7:02 (we started late because I forgot to have a timer in the boat). Dale worked all day judging or running the computer for the jump event. He didn’t complete his end of the day paper work much before 5 pm. I’m sure it was a very long day for him… Thanks Dale.

If we keep working our officials this hard, they won’t be helping us much in the future. It’s very important that each competitor help in scoring, judging, driving, pick-up boat, video, ect. Also be sure to attend the clinics that are being held at Regionals in two weeks.

********The following skiers had PB’s*******
•    Carol Jackson – Wakes 3.0 (was 2.4) 125% improvement
