Many do not understand the amount of physical equipment that is required to run a Regional Tournament. All of the following items are required to be purchased, stored, transported to the site, then moved to the location of usage, retuned back to my house, and then all lost/broken items need to be replaced for next year.

This does not cover all of the upfront work needed to organize the event, lunch, dinner, banquet, nor the work required to then clean up the site, bathrooms, and equipment after everybody has left.

I give you this information so that you appreciate Jim Forster and Joe Pressendo who have also worked this year to give you the opportunity to ski to your potential.

My commitment to the Southern Region is of my choosing and I'm not asking for anything for me, just give to the sport. Get involved, you see something that needs to get done, just do it, pick up trash, lend a hand, learn to Judge, Score, Safety, just be part of the team.

One way you can really help is to register online as soon as possible so that it makes it easier for the tournament organizers to organize the officials and running order.
